Space Clown Twinsations! - Take a Word Couple challenge

The challenge this week at Take a Word was couples.  I seemed to be stuck a bit in 

circus space mode but managed a couple of almost identical twin sisters!

 Admittedly, still a bit in space mode but definitely less clown!

Circus CIRCUS Circus in SPACE - Digitalmania challenge

Over at Digitalmania this week, our challenge involved inspiration from the art of Cathy Horner.  I immediately fell in love with her circus series.

She makes use of brilliant color and geometric shapes.  I definitely found the color and a little of shaping, but, as per usual, I took things in a whole new bizarre direction.

Behold, the Ringmaster Baboon in Space!

Just be warned, the next several pieces I will be posting all seem to involve space, and there might still be a hint of clown mania....

Colour Me Happy! - 3Muses Challenge

I thought it would be ideal to combine one of  my New Year project goals (a series of Louisiana based Major Arcana Tarot cards) with the Colour Me Happy!  theme from the Three Muses!

So this is my brilliantly colored Fool with some uniquely inspired Louisiana details!
